That's classic! :D

The average DAL pilot is going to look at that big $150.00 increase on their pay check next month and celebrate???

So a 4% bonus on the current rate for the remainder of the year, and a 12.84% raise as of the amendable date isn't much?

All of it without lingering in mediation for a year or two.

It's not 12.84%. We traded profit sharing for pay. Remember?

10.84%, but remember the Feb profit sharing is not reduced until the Feb 2014 check {2013) so I guess the 12.84 0n 01Jan would be the correct amount.

Not until 2014 and not at all if the company makes the profits forecast.

Hate to rain on this parade, Buzz, but that is not correct. We will never recoup the money we gave up under the old profit sharing plan with the new one, no matter how wildly profitable Delta is. The profit sharing give back only makes sense if Delta stops making money.

And for the record, I consider the war to be basically over. The only thing I see possibly changing that is IF DPA comes up for a vote and is somehow able to win. Short of that, I plan on just enjoying what's left of my career, accepting that the reasonable expectations I had going in are now off the table, and spending a lot less time thinking about or discussing this crap.

Delta obviously gets what they pay for.

And yet if Delta stops making money (especially after a current track record and future forcasts of wild profits even in a down economy) they'll be back for concessions quicker than that guy from fast times at ridgemont high. At least the large RJ's and 100K lb. jets at non union DPJ (that won't hire DL pilots on furlough unless they resign) get to stay though.

What is your definition of "mediocrity"?....and by the way, there is no one here "dragging you along", you can break right at any time you feel the need.
