What will it Take?
Okay, the voting is over and the TA is now our PWA. I ask this question in all seriousness. I'm not trying to flamebait anyone. My question is for the no voters. "What needs to happen within the duration of this new contract for you to possibly say........maybe the yes voters were right?" Is there a number the seniority list needs to grow to? Is there a average monthly reserve hours flown that we would need to be below? Or is there nothing that can happen...
I'm just wondering what it will take happening over the next 3 years to maybe change your minds...... Denny |

Delta's seniority list needs to grow beyond 12,500 pilots (what we had at the time of the merger) without counting any pilots brought from another merger. If that happens, I will consider this contract a win.

What's your definition of massive growth and how much does DCI need to shrink?

I don't look at it as a matter of who was right and who was wrong. This is our contract, so let's move on. Now we can sit back and watch the other pilots groups and their progress. We can rehash all this in 2014 or prior to our next merger most likely.
As far as I'm concerned, as long as one did their due diligence with the TA, people could come to different conclusions. There was no right or wrong vote as far as I'm concerned. I'm just curious what it would take happening in the next couple of years to say "maybe it turned out Ok." Like I said, I'm just curious. Denny |

That the 450 count is actually reached and complied with, and that the 88 717s come online as growth aircraft without being used as replacements. (i.e. parking 88's or airbuses as they come online, which the MBH ratios allow).
