That's easy. Stop paying them welfare. Cut them off.

Ironically Age 65 is just as much age discrimination as Age 60 was as claimed by the "experience pilot act" people.

My only input, if you vote for the age 60 rule/against the age 65 rule. A mandatory age 60 retirement is incurred by the voter regardless of the outcome of the ruling. Don't vote for it now when it's personally beneficial, yet work till 65 later because it's personally beneficial then.

Why stop there? Why not Age 52? Arbitrary numbers...60, 52, 65, 35... choose one. Sam

Let's do away with the mandatory retirement age altogether. Let the pilot decide when he/she wants to retire - as long as they can maintain a Class 1 medical, of course.

I hit 65 in June this year, but I've been retired for 6 years - because I had a pension that allowed me to retire and because I wanted to retire - not because some junior wannabe said that I should.

We have the voting power. Lets make this happen.
"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? No! Well its not over now...WHO'S WITH ME? Ahhhhhhhhhh"
Many of you young RJ F/Os prob have no clue what I'm referring to.
I'm staying until I'm 65. In today's economy and airline management practices....many of us are glad the age was raised.
Of course, I need to get hired by a real airline first.

Heck, you don't need to bring back age 60.

Just make the FAA medical the same as the EASA medical, and given by government doctors like they do in Euroland, and there'd be more progression than you could shake a stick at.
