I'm sure this won't lead to any disagreement...
From the letter, "Delta Crew Resources projects pilot head count to be DOWN over 11 percent by FEB 2013"
Delta Pilots Association - DPA News - New Contract Efficiencies Create Massive Job Losses
It points to docs available on DeltaNet so I went to the source and downloaded them myself. The only difference is that in the title of the doc it says it's for "requirements" and "not a headcount." The docs don't have anyone's name on them for verification of the author. So what's the "truth"?

Anyways, there are two reports put up on Deltanet, one called the 22D2 and the other the 22D3.
The big spread between the two is normal and we staff close to the higher number, so comparing the 22D2 vs 22D3 isn't correct. Right now right around 10,500-10,700 pilots fly the line and that's close to the 10,600 on the 22D3 report. To see how that compares you need to see another 22D3 report, not a 22D2 report. Unfortunately, I don't think too many of us sit down and save those files to do a comparison.
But I did fine an August 2010 22D2 report that showed 9,777 pilots required vs the 9,419 the FEB13 22D2 now shows. So that's down about 358 pilots.

Between this (making an uneducated assertion on something that is published several times a year and shows the same data time after time) and actions during the TA process, their leadership is showing pure ignorance.
I'm all for renewal of leadership at ALPA, and time for the same at DPA if they want to have a chance.
