Quote: Anybody know how long after indoc in phx that systems in clt starts
It depends. You bid for your class date start when you bid your equipment. Some guys had 2 days, others had over a week. I guess it depends on when they can flow you into training.

How was OBAP?

I missed OBAP, but was there for the FAPA fair. Not terribly long lines, however I feel as though it was a fairly unproductive event. Seemed as though the person I talked to who was checking resumes couldn't care less about my resume, took down my email address and told me he'd email me when the widow reopened. That was it. I asked a couple questions about the app process and he basically just directed me to peoplesoft and to ask them....he was very uninterested in answering questions, just wanted to hurry up and finish. Fairly unimpressed with the fair overall, kind of a letdown. Maybe that was just me, hopefully others had a more positive experience....

I was there too. I'm not certain the people at the table worked for Airways. The two pilots that were talking to guys in line were very nice and answered lots of questions. The guy I talked to said hiring 20/mo for the foreseeable future.

The people at the table were all HR people at Airways. I do Agree though, the pilots taking to us in line were very friendly and helpful. I just really don't think being there enhanced my chances whatsoever of getting a call for an interview....

is there an update on hiring? I read someplace that the 4/15 or 4/29 class was going to have 20 in it.

So maybe some calls this week hopefully?!

Hoping to start hearing calls for a May 13th class that needs to be filled. Anyone heard if there is a class slated to start that day?

Wow, that's a big bummer the job fair wasn't more productive. I would say don't give up hope.

The email taken was to look up your application and place the "check mark" next to your application, in response to your showing up for the event. At least that's what they said they did at WAI.

Did anyone give suggestions to resumes, what to put, how to present or anything like that? At WAI, I received some advice on mine from an Airbus LCA on what she thought fellow Airways recruiters would look for.

Good luck, let's hope we hear about some calls to interview from people who were at the FAPA job fair.
