I think you're still in the running, I've gotta believe that. Your app hasn't been archived, you haven't received a Thanks, But No Thanks email, I'd say you're still in the running.

I'm an optimist, I think Airways is going to have to recruit huge numbers due to the huge numbers of pilots they'll lose through retirement.

Yes, I have the August app Under Review which I had View Directions for, an app from December that's Under Review, and a February app that's Under Review. I got the Application Invitation for the Aug and Dec applications.

So I think it is still ok! But only a 'Hired!' call will make me rest easy!

What is the application invitation, aka what does it mean seen it before.

Hoping they call for interviews from the Feb posting soon.

You're right! I won't rest until I'm hired somewhere! Sounds like you've got the same apps in as I do. It'll be interesting over the next few days to see how many more View The Directions pop up, I'm sure they're not done. You're still ok.

Back in December I believe, the recruiting company Airways uses sent out a whole bunch of Thanks, But No Thanks emails to a whole mess of people. Apparently, it was a mistake, as they sent out another email later saying please apply again. Some people's apps showed the application invitation, while others received a curious link that said Keep Warm.

In a warped sense, the Airways application process has been a little fun, it's like trying to figure out some sort of puzzle and has given rise to all kinds of theories, guesses and conjectures. It's made for one of the more puzzling and interesting threads on APC.

I also got the no thanks letter, followed by the reapply letter. I went to WIA. As of today, still "under review."

Mine says Under Review as well. Everyone's does.

Click on the Additional Job Information and Actions link on your Feb app, or any and see if it lists View The Directions as a fourth link.

That's where it should be listed.

For what its worth... I have an August app under review which had the original view the directions that vanished, as well as a February app under review without view the directions. Attended WAI. No calls, hopefully waiting.

FWIW I had "view the directions" on the August app. Ended up with the rejection email (not in error).

Attended WAI and have it again on the Feb app. We'll see how it goes this time around.

Is it just me or does it seem like there's a higher percentage with the "view directions"? I'm hoping it means something good for all of us (yep I have it as well) but it just seems like there are an awful lot of folks who have it this time...I sure hope we don't end up with some system error message!
