This industry is a crapshoot, but those numbers do make US look pretty dang attractive. Good luck, all.

I agree that it would be a plausable thing for someone to do. It would be risking something really good for something that could be potentially great. I just doubt anyone is doing that. Most certainally not at the rate of being the main source of Airways interviews. If there's a rush of guys on here telling me they left SWA for Airways, I'll eat my words.

Are they gonna give all the August applicants still under review a shot before they move on to other application windows? Thanks in advance.
I don't know what an application invitation is. He only filled out one application in August with a requisition number from a FAPA job fair.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how the selection process at US Airways works.

I had an Airways Captain tell me he was told this by an Airways Sim Instructor—take it or leave it... debunk it if you have time.

However I will say that moral is low at Legacy AirTran. They're losing captains positions to LSWA and southwest as a whole is abandoning its former business model for something new. It'll be interesting watching them abandon their "low fair" and "bags fly free" campaigns.

Cheers.

Mine now says "view directions" too... I did attend WAI and spoke with US, (in addition to other companies), when I click on the link it says:

"This is a profile review slot. A Senior Recruiter will be reviewing your information".

If I had more about myself, I would've asked the HR lady sitting at the table about the View The Directions link.

If anyone attends the FAPA event in Vegas, maybe they can ask? Although, I wouldn't pass up making a good impression or pass up a good question just to ask it.

Does anyone who has the "view directions" for Feb also have it in August?

Everyone with "view directions" did you see the recruiters at a job fair?

When you click on the link, it says:

"This is a profile review slot. A Senior Recruiter will be reviewing your information."

Seems self explanatory or am I missing something?

It seems to say that it is set to be reviewed soon by someone other than the computer. I attended WAI, and also worked at a booth all three days.

Good luck!

So the question poised early still applies, did everyone get a view instructions tab? Send it was a mass push to under review last week, wondering if they pushed everyone up or only a few.

I have not been to a job fair at all and I have the "view directions". I have applied in every window they have opened starting in I think sometime around summer of 2011 for what its worth...
