This merger WILL very likely go through, and it will be amusing and satisfying to see the arrogance of DL wiped clean. The name will remain Delta, but the company will become Parker's. The old Delta attitude will be something for the history books!
Shaner - sour grapes from your failed Delta interview?

It's a contractual agreement, and there were ZERO (0) pilots from MidAtlantic that even TRIED to flow back to Piedmont. Who would want to fly a Dash 8 anyways? There have been meetings going on over the past several months to iron out this flow through process. Being that it is in the contract, and it is to be done AFTER all furloughees have been recalled, it will happen. Why the hell would the company ever take pilots off the street when they could get there own? Mesa?? Hahaha...

Sounds like some of you are a little bitter that your position with whatever garbage contract carrier you fly with won't provide you with your next step. Flow through at US is in place, and regardless of cost it's a contractual agreement. Just this week the flow-back issues were ironed out. Sorry guys...get at the end of the VERY LONG line.
