This merger WILL very likely go through, and it will be amusing and satisfying to see the arrogance of DL wiped clean. The name will remain Delta, but the company will become Parker's. The old Delta attitude will be something for the history books!

Shaner - sour grapes from your failed Delta interview?

Being that it is in the contract, and it is to be done AFTER all furloughees have been recalled, it will happen. Why the hell would the company ever take pilots off the street when they could get there own? Mesa?? Hahaha...
Because if they hire off the street, they don't have double training costs; which is what they have when they flow through.

flowthrough...haha. Why would they deplete their own stock? i.e. pilots from their own feeders? i wouldn't hold my breathe if you were hoping to flow through to mainline.

Sounds like some of you are a little bitter that your position with whatever garbage contract carrier you fly with won't provide you with your next step. Flow through at US is in place, and regardless of cost it's a contractual agreement. Just this week the flow-back issues were ironed out. Sorry guys...get at the end of the VERY LONG line.

Well, I guess UPS is a contract flyer; I mean we do have many contracts with different customers. And the reason I know more than you about this(flowback) is because my hubbie is a mainline furloughee who was on mid titanic when it sank.....and yes YOU guys(assuming you are piedmont or PSA) DID indeed block a "flowback". Don't play dumb with me boyee
