It sounds like it. I've gotten word from a few that have received the call.

I've gotten word from about 6 of the guys in my group that got the call today (22 Nov), three of those without the type rating. :)

I'm still waiting to hear myself, but whatever happens, I'm still glad for the guys that got through.

On a side note, a good friend of mine interviewed a few days prior to me and hasn't gotten the call yet either, so if they call him on Monday, there may be hope for me yet, because I can't see them not calling him.

Hey Dave, I'm in the same boat your in. Just keep you fingers crossed. If they are calling 100 people, then I think it would take more than 1 day. Hopefully we'll get the good news by Monday.

Remember its not over until the letter is found in the mail box. It took 10 days from when my hiring board met to the time I got called. The first person got called on day 3. Needless to say I didn't think I was hired. So regardless of what is happening with other people, there is always hope....untill it is dashed by the mailman.:eek:

I got the call on Wednesday! Can't wait to start. I interviewed on 23 Oct.

Still no call, and a few more in my group got called today(a few got called last week). No letter yet, but I think I have strike one. One more year, and I'll be in the batter's box again.
Good news is that I am in upgrade class now.

Don't loose all hope yet. When I interviewed (at FedEx, yes I know you're talking about SWA) two guys in my class got calls after 1 week. I got my call starting at week 4. It just was a break in classes and where my last name came alphabetically. The first two called were an "A" and a "D" last names.

Thanks, but the guys in my group all have last names after me. I begin with an "E", the guys that got the call were "M"s.
