Still no call...
 

About 5 of the guys in my interview group were called on Weds. the 22nd, I'm thinking that I'll be keeping an eye on the mailbox now.

Sad, but there it is. Hopefully I'm wrong, but with the DB having met the week of the 13th, my guess is that I was a non-select.

BTW, does anyone have any info on the number of interviews conducted in advance of the last DB and how many were eventually selected?

I got a letter today! So if you're going to get one, they are on their way! 2 weeks to the day from when the DB met. What a sad day! I guess there's next year. I'm going to have a "few" drinks now!

Congrats to everyone who got the call and good luck. Hopefully I won't be much more than 600 numbers junior to you!

questions for those that got the call
 

I interviewed in early Nov, so my DB should be in a few weeks. Does anyone know how many of those hired had the type? Also, have class dates been assigned for the typed guys? Congrats to those who were hired! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry man.:( That stinks. I believe I too will get the letter. But like you said, NEXT YEAR!!

A majority of the guys I heard back from in our group that got the call, were NOT TYPED!!!

Guys. Just FYI, I got the call and was NOT typed, not sure about the others. Keep the faith for those without the call.

I wasn't typed either, and not sure about the numbers guys. I heard 100 out of 300 actually got the call. That seems about the right average from earlier posts. Hope this helps.
On a different subject I am booked to go to Higher Power to get my type; any advice???

Well, it's official. They DON"T want me THIS YEAR!:(
Got home from ground school last night, and my wife handed me "THE LETTER"!!!. Trying again in Oct. '07:)

They sent me my letter as well, maybe I'll try again if I don't get on with FedEx or UPS in the meantime.
