Delta International Jumpseating
#1
I just returned from a trip abroad on Delta, and I noticed an interesting trend. Every time I depart the U.S for Europe regardless of seats available in Biz Elite, I am placed in coach. However, once the door is closed or sometimes even before a FA approaches me and tells me to move up front. Delta has always been great to me regardless of where I sit, so moving up or not, is not my issue. Every time I make the return from Europe back to the States, the agents will automatically put my in Biz.
My question; Is it Delta's policy not to be jumpseaters up front, and it's just that the foreign stations don't care? Thanks in advance.

I don't know for certain, but I have heard some of our Senior Mommas say they are told NOT to move jumpseaters (or anyone else) up to F/C from coach on International flights.
They are worried there will be complaints from the Full Fare, High Value Customers I guess.
