Anybody having trouble synching global.pilotcred info into a SWA.pilotcred? I filled out the whole shooting match on global last week, and can't get it to port over to swa.

For anyone that's wondering the job is back up.
Best of luck to all :) |

Any new hires need to keep in mind they have 1,500+ AirTran guys left to transition over. All of whom will be senior. You will be scraping the bottom of the list for 5+ years.
I am willing to bet 99.9% of the applicants won't mind scraping by on SWA wages. |

Anyone like me who previously applied who has an updated profile not get an email like this? 2 options I guess. 1) wait for the email. 2) go to the careers website and apply anyway. Thoughts anyone?

Hey no way you guys should scrap it up. Withdraw from consideration immediately, if not sooner, and Ill go ahead and bite this bullet for you.

I'm really happy SWA opened this hiring window, especially considering that it was a pretty big surprise to me and most of my buds who are trying to get hired. Do I want to sit reserve out of OAK for 2+ years? Heck no, but I'd venture that most of us here didn't think SWA would open a hiring window in September 2013, so now I'm supposed to listen to those very same people who say I'll be the end of any SWA hiring?
That said, I don't have a type so I'd definitely be the token non-type guy they interview just so they say they do it. I'd love a phone call but I haven't positioned myself as well as I could have for this opportunity. At worst at least 200 people who would've been competition for me elsewhere will be off the market :). EDIT: BTW, just submitted my resume using their resume wizard, site is up and running. |

That's a good way to look at it. LOTS of sperm swimming towards that single, Southwest egg. Sorry for the visual. :) |
Curious, anyone know how far up the list you have to be to hold a line? What's the difference between most junior vs. most senior base.
