I love all the men claiming that being a woman gives you a competitive edge. I have yet to see that in my 6,000+ hr career. Maybe it gives the one an edge who does "extra curricular" activities. I don't know. All of the women I have kept in touch with in this industry have had times and competitive qualifications for every position they earned.
