Terminal 3. CNN is reporting a shooter shot a TSA agent at a security checkpoint. Situation is still going on, apparently there is a ground stop at LAX, passengers are being evacuated across the Tarmac near terminal 3.

I have been watching this since the first police siren wailed past our office (we overlook LAX here at IB). The response was very quick and efficient, and even though there is a tactical alert for the LAPD, the worst problem ahead is calming the nerves of the passengers who were there and getting flights back on time.

Latest reporting says one gunman, he's been shot, taken into custody and transported to a local hospital.
One TSA agent shot, looks like most injuries to passengers were from panic and trying to get away from the scene, which is understandable.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery for the TSA agent.
CNN now reporting one TSA agent killed, another wounded.
Prayers and condolences to the family and friends of the slain TSA agent.
