Retirement Projections: 2014
These were the are the projected retirements for 2013:
These figures do not include pilots who may have retired early or retired on medical.
Can anyone provide me the ACUTAL number of total retirements for each carrier? (Age 65, early and medical)
Since 2012 (2012+2013) projected retirements have been:
(Assuming 2012 as the starting point for all retirements)
At the end of 2014 the total retirements (2012+2013+2014) are projected to be:
(Assuming 2012 as the starting point for all retirements)
Again I’m looking for DATA on the TOTAL ACTUAL number of retirements (Age 65, early and medical).
Thanks
MARTY!!

Projections are just that. AS thought they were going to lose 20 Capts. in December. Then the bond rate adjusted for 2014 and 59 pulled the plug. On top of that, you have to figure in a percentage for busted medicals, death and disciplinary removals.
