Beyond insane. As of when did CHEAP (read: below cost) airline travel become a human right?

What about a multi-airline picket at the airports this airline serves?

Lot's of butt hurt from the frequent flyer crowd that feels entitiled to first class on every flight with minimum miles and say the Norwegian scam will increase competition. Maybe someone should tell them that competition and free market economics are why that first class seat isn't always available. Someone has to pay full price for so many to given away...

About the same time that cheap gas, cheap milk and cheap cell phones did. In other words, all along, and people are only looking out for themselves.

I can remember when US carriers "Walmarted the skies" against other US carriers to kick them out of desired markets. Then came the Nieman Marcus skies in many cities. Soooooo where were the protests and solidarity amongst the sky jockies of every US carrier back then

At the end of the day it's up to those in management with their dime store MBAs to figure it out, wine and dine the boys and girls in their state capitals, and DC, that is, if the really give a rat$ a$$, isn't it?

Captajns,
Free market competition for companies that operate under the same rules is capitalism. When a company uses a flag of convenience, to get around various rules, that skews the market away from "free".

So I guess wit DAL and AF alliance with DAL operating LAX LHR then to CDG should have been protested by both Euroland and US pilots. Oh wait... I don't many complaints about Qantas operating domestic US routes. Double Standards?

Bottom line pilots nor unions aren't going to do a bloody thing, other than the typical informational in the USA Today.... And what for. You think the consumer cares? Yeah right! You think your elected officials give a ra$ a$$? Yeah sure.

There are no DAL metal flights from LHR-CDG. Qantas doesn't operate US domestic routes.

You need to do a little studying on ICAO and the "aviation freedoms", your credibility on this issue is at about zero right now.
