If I offended anyone in the mafia, my sincerest apologies.

If I offended anyone who is so easily offended that everything is offensive, I sincerely apologize (although I think that person would need therapy.)

If offended anyone that needs therapy for being overly sensitive, I sincerely apologize.

I wonder now much Alaska could charge Delta for ground services I JNU before Delta just does it themselves. That would have been an interesting negotiation to listen in on.

How much is Delta charging Alaska for ground services in Atlanta? Could be a "Help us in JNU or find your own gates and below wing in Atlanta."

I think Delta is kicking us to the curb most everywhere. I know Boston is done with us.

I was in ATL last week. It was non DL contractors. I'm sure DL will figure it out. They are not stupid. But I don't think they will be profitable in JNU.

This should not be a ****ing match between employees of either company. We are all the same, just different uniforms.

They (DL) are IMO the best of all the bigger US airlines. You could also say they **** off their employees less than the others. Happy employees make for happy customers in this business. (i've worked for 7 Airlines and grew up in an 8th) I would rather work for DL than AA or UA. I am worried they (DL) are trying to squash AS with their shear size. It's Kind of like Starbucks putting small coffee shops out of business. I don't think AS will exist in it's current form in the next 2-4 years. AS will either buy someone else or someone will buy them. I think DL is becoming less likely and AA more likely. The benefit of AA is many more retirements than DL coming up.

I don't think they care if they are profitable in Juneau. This is about Seattle.

Its all part of a broader strategy.
Delta has appointed a new team in charge of getting more gates at SeaTac.
757s into JNU was their recommendation.

Man, AS and AA would be interesting to watch. How many pilot groups can you **** off simultaneously?

If it happens, I don't think it will with AA any time soon. I suspect AA will be gagging on the bile from the integration with USAir for quite a while.
