an iPod, which includes podcasts downloaded from my fave shows, like TWiT and Dave Ramsey
Wall Street Journal
Magazines that improve my knowledge, like Forbes and Kiplinger
My own sun shades
Eyemask
Ear plugs
Hot sauce at the ready
A magic trick to wow the F/A's

Then I usually review all the
chart notams pages and find out
all the really cool stuff.

These days, talk. Can't read, can't sleep, can't listen to music. Dang corporate aircraft without doors. Usually eating dinner/catering will pass away about an hour, and since we rarely fly more than 3 hr legs, no biggie.

Empty flights I'll knock out a crossword or a couple of sudoku puzzles.
