Take the 320 , all the growth is there. I got some pals who got in board last march and are still reserve and will be for some time on the 190 due to no growth on the 190 , sure it will change as guys jump from the 190 to the bus after their 2 year seat lock, but either way growth is on the bus period ... Plus once you do hold a line there is far more bus flying to choose from when it comes to swapping trips in open time and trade with etc, a junior line holder on the bus will get many red eye crappy trips and the only way to get out of then is swapping stuff around ... Easier done when there are trips to do it with .

Well I am on the 190 and I can bid over to the Airbus.. There is a lot of movement over to the other seats from the 190 FO position. Even tho I have just about two years here I would be a junior line holder on the Airbus flying a lot of red eyes.. No thanks, I am staying where I can have a better quality of life.. My time for the big bus will come. Just my 2 cents, carry on.

Even though the growth is on the airbus, the e190 has better movement so you will gain seniority a lot faster. If you go to the bus you may have a lot of guys coming in on top of you.

If you want to be based in BOS then i would go for the 190. More movement than the 320. Especially once you are beyond the 2-year equip lock. In BOS the E190 has slightly more block hours of flying than the 320.

If you want to be based in JFnK then take the 320. Tons more 320 flying there than 190, and youll have decent movement as well.

All great points mentioned above , esp the 2 year 190 guys that don't want to bid over . I can't understand your line won't be near as nice depending on what you want....
