No it isn't, Joey. It's a reality check for junior AS guys because of:
If it comes down to a merger, the AS Pilot group is going to get the shaft. 30 year widebody fences and no upgrades until the junior DAL pilot gets his. If I had less than 5 years of AS seniority, I'd be trying for a DAL job.

You don't, obviously, but I do (all of 4 months' seniority, but still got a line in Dec) ... And I am not applying for Delta. I know we (I!) banter on here a lot, but despite the fact that Delta cannot spell the word "airlines" correctly, their CEO supported the recent executive order unpleasantness, they just purchased a bunch of foreign-made airplanes instead of supporting American workers, and the fact that their recently-announced expansion in SEA is almost exclusively Compass and SkyWest, they seem to be a good company ... But I still don't want to fly for them--just can't get over the Skygod hat and van admiral jacket!
