Last Saturday off the east coast, east of Savanna, I got a good laugh at this response. The "you're on guard" patrol was silent for at least 30 minutes after that. Thank you! I owe you a beer.

About a month ago, someone posed as delta (couldn't have been them based on radio reception and geographical location while transmitting) calling ops at gate B41. Someone else on guard replied, "go ahead delta", and the caper requested two gluten-free crew meals at Baker 41. Freaking hilarious. Perhaps you just had to be there.

About a month ago a freaking huge meteor lit up the sky over Texas, it was like daylight, spectacular. The conversation started on guard almost immediately, followed by guard patrol, followed by hilarious Delta bashing. To the Beavis and Butthead crew, I salute you.

Anyone hear a few weeks ago on the East Coast when a British Airways pilot kept trying to tell the yanks they were "breaking the law" and were going to "get written up" for the guard banter? Totally hilarious! Somebody then played a sound of a donkey going "hee-haw," likely in reference to this. Probably best guard banter of all time.
