Default RV or crashpad at LAX?

Hello All,

I am starting Indoc next month and I am hoping for a LAX base, however I am torn between getting a crashpad or using our RV that we already own. I have read about people using RV's in a certain employee lot at LAX. However the thread is a few years old and I'm not sure if it's still allowed. Does anyone have any info on that such as cost, rules, etc and has anyone done that? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

There were still RVs in the E (I think) lot last time I landed 25L, but I spoke with someone who tried to bring their rig down there this fall and he said there is a waiting list and they are not accepting applications. Wouldn't hurt to call the parking office and find out for yourself, though.
