I thought this was industry standard. United's been paying for global entry for a while.

As discussed in another thread, it's only $20 a year for Global Entry. Free is better than paying but it really isn't much of a perk. There are several credit cards that offer to pay for your G.E.

It was $100, when I signed up, it's a great advantage when you get behind a foreign crew that has to be fingerprinted and photo taken.

It's $100 for 5 years so $20 a year.

Nexus is only $50 and gives you Global Entry as well. But, you have to be close to the US/Canada border for the interview. It's not at airport but land crossings. (Ie, At the Ambasssador bridge in Detroit, not at the airport)
