Default FLL to MIA

I'm switching bases to Miami in April. I thought I had a Crashpad lined up, but just got told that it's still full. So, I'm gonna crash with a friend in Lauderdale a few times till I figure out my plan. Anyone have any experience with public transportation or car sharing or any economical way to get to Miami from Lauderdale?

By far the least expensive, and at 35 min it's probably quickest considering SF traffic.

Tri Rail | South Florida Regional Transportation Authority

Varies from $3.75-$5 one way airport to airport, with several pass options to save on multiple trips. Runs at least once an hour from 5am or so until 10pm. Schedules and fares change a bit on weekends and holidays, but not too much.

After that Uber may be your next bet, or at odd times when the rail won't work.

Thanks Eric, I was leaning towards the Tri rail, am just gonna have to make a trial run and see how it goes. I'll be crashing over in las olas, so I figure I can bus or cab it back and forth to the rail station.

I find Uber to be cost effective and convenient.

Go with Uber for the run back and forth between the crash pad and station. The late night tri rail schedule is super lousy though.
