Default Application "Buzz Words"

Hello everyone. New to the forum so please excuse my ignorance if it shows...

I'm reading through all the information on here regarding major airline applications...a ton of info. What I didn't see was a list of "buzz words".

I'm asking because of information I've got from numerous sources regarding (mostly Delta) looking for certain phrases in your application... "Servant Leadership" is the one I've heard from Delta.

So...(1) Do the airlines still look for these and, if so, (2) is there a current list for each company?

Thanks for the help!

1. yes
2. no

Give the details why you're doing more than the bottom rung slug in your unit.

Don't use 'teach' 12x. There's a ton of words that can be more accurate, like 'instruct', 'mentor', 'lead', 'organize', etc that you can use for different responsibilities.

You get 5 extra points added to your Delta application score if you can mix in the phrase "Gate latency".

It goes without saying that your application is immediately tossed if you don't use the words "double breasted" somewhere .

Use the list of adjectives in the Tounge and Quill...those will help.

Use the term "I wish to be hired, not acquired " then tell them you're a navy guy and blah blah blah. In like flint!

Damn it! So that's why Delta never called. I had "Asian Hooker", "8-ball", and "Donkey Show", and thought I was golden.

As with any job, look at the company core values and the job announcement. Try to work those into your resume and application inputs.

Your tour to Korea or vacation to Mexico should be saved for the personality/psych assessment. Remember, they are looking for people that will be fun to sit next to on a 4 day trip...Feel free to embellish.

I hear that using "Cleveland Steamer" on the Delta app will result in an instant interview email....
