Just like it was fun for the Emirates crew at the 5-Star DFW hotel some time ago where the fat new Delta pilot finds his way to chat up the model-lookalike EK FAs and bragged about being the 757 pilot. The 5'9" Swedish FA then points to the 6'2" former Royal Air Force pilot and says: "...he's the A380 captain and flew Eurofighters...what did you do before Delta?" He said he was a C-130 pilot. "...so you weren't a fighter pilot then," she said. “…no, I wasn’t,” the little man said and calmly got up and left the bar area while allowing the EK crew to have the best laugh. Well done!
It wasn't you, was it?
Your [and of few others on this Thread] sentiments reeks of insecurity by mindlessly comparing yourselves with regional pilots while conveniently forgetting that most Major airline pilots in the US come from regional feed. You’re welcome.

Curious. Do YOU think it was not extremely arrogant of the Emirates FA to compare her Captain's relative height advantage, his CA seat on the A-380 (as if that somehow makes him a superior pilot), and his time in Eurofighters to this Delta pilot, and then laugh about him as he walked away?

Oh c'mon. You weren't the Delta guy here by any chance, were you?
In the story the Delta guy lit the fuse by bragging about being a 75 driver. Can't blame the FA for how she responded to that. He should've expected a hottie to test his man-powers, and she did. Apparently he folded like a cheap suit. That's all on the Delta guy, not on the FA.
Lemme translate this little exchange for you....
"I'm a stud, you know."
"Oh really? That's funny. Prove it and make me laugh again."
"I'm being serious."
"I see that, and it's hilarious. But I'm laughing at you, not with you. B'bye."

You made me chuckle the way you translated it, though.
With that said, if the story is true as told, is it not clear that the FA and her crew were playing one-upmanship to the DL guy? Who's to say the DL guy didn't see the whole crew partying, realized they were crew and thought they might be fun to join. He eventually mentions he flies a 757 for DL, and they basically act like "get away from us peasant-boy co-pilot in your puny 757. Can't you see that a REAL international heavy jet crew has taken over the place? Be gone!"
That's how the episode reads to me, anyway. I could be wrong. 😉

At least the 757 pilot was on a level playing ground with the A-380 cabin crew.... Oh wait.... the 757 ran off with his tail between his legs and his thumb in his mouth? I guess it wasn't a level playing ground... Oh well.

This BS about I fly 757 story is probably being told about American, United, Jet Blue, All the above. I call BS on it being about a Delta pilot. The Delta pilots I know would say they fly the ER, and when asked what the ER is he would have omitted the 757 and only include that he fly the 767 just like he tells all his facebook friends...

Sounds like a made up story for many reasons, the Delta pilot laying over at a 5 star hotel in DFW for one. The comment about the Delta guy being fat, (not that there aren't some) but sounds like someone got shot down and is a little butt hurt, so he makes up a rediculous story about an EK FA putting a Delta pilot in his place makes him feel better.
