Interesting chart. I'd like to see this for all airlines.

Probably pretty similar at AA and DAL. Bottom line is 50 seat RJs are going away in massive numbers, those pilots are being hired or flowed to mainline and mainline aircraft are being added.
United has 65 737-700s coming starting next year. short haul routes served by 70+ seat RJs will be replaced with those aircraft and the RJs will take over 50 seat routes.
