It happened. The carrier I least expected to invite me for an interview, invited me!

Don’t get me wrong, I kept updating all apps every two weeks. Networked a ton. Kept in touch with majority of my buddies that moved on. I was very fortunate that all offered to help my career. Truly grateful! Attended OBAP and an expo. Kept my attitude up and just enjoyed everyday I sat my butt down on the pilots seat.

Biggest thing to overcome was watching my peers get the invite and asking why I hadn’t gotten one. It was tough and a killer so I forced myself to change and just enjoy the ride.

I’m extremely excited to be given an opportunity to interview. Now it’s up to me to earn a cjo.

Moral of the story, don’t be that pilot with a shi**y attitude. Have patience, it is coming!

This was the biggest thing I struggled with. There were so many guys/girls who were getting the call before me who didn't do the things I was doing. At some point, I told myself to just control what I could. The call came. It will come for everyone who wants it bad enough.

Hard to do but patience will help ‘the call’ come quicker. Like you said, control what you can control!

No Busted rides
1 Traffic Ticket in the past 10 years

Currently a Regional CA with a wholly owned flying a lot. Just went to my first job fair planning on doing a lot more. Still 2 years away from flow.

No Calls yet (applying to Top 3 Legacies and Top 2 Cargo)

2.7 GPA on a 4 year degree
Not recommended to upgrade at my 135
(this is considered a failure but not a busted check ride?)
No Busts
No tickets in 14 years
5 carriers w/ 1-135 and 1- out of business
(Chasing time has not been my friend)
4 type ratings

TBNT from Allegiant, Atlas (2016)
Crickets from UAL, DAL, SWA, AA, AS, FDX, UPS, Spirit, Frontier, Kalitta, WGN, ATI, ABX

2 types, no fails (knock on wood), no major skeletons/tickets never been arrested

LCA gig and office time has killed my flight time progression, I'll only fly about 300 hours in the last 12 months.

DL recruitment email sent by a friend in June
9 UA LOR's, been working on getting a CP meet for nearly a year.

2 app reviews, hit every job fair over the last 18 months.

Nada.

Constantly update DL, AA, UA, FX, UPS and SWA.
