I disagree. No one person in our government can make the kinds of changes that would cause any catastrophic damage to our economy. Even if he/she is President. Any change is going to have to go through the House and Senate, and they want to be re-elected, too.

It's all just talk. As far as I'm concerned, it business as usual today, and will be in January, too. No worries.

I sincerely hope you're right, as business as usual is working out pretty well for us! However Trumps party now controls the WH, house, senate, and de facto the Supreme Court. None of us were alive the last time that happened. THEY can do basically anything they want and historically GOP leadership has been very bad for the airline industry.

Markets are not rational. That being said, I agree with most of what you said. However, being highly paid union labor, with a pending shortage will be highly problematic. The solution will, in part, lie with our new Commander in Chief. We won't like the solutions.

I'm getting my resume up to date starting today.

I would normally agree with you however there is nothing normal about Trump and traditional GOP positions. Anti-globalization and bringing jobs back to our shores was a big part of his appeal to many voters. Obama has been far less supportive on NAI and ME3 inroads than Trump will likely be. JMO YMMV

Omg people........if you don't have to go to work for a few weeks I suggest smoking a joint so you can RELAX!

Not everything he's pushing for will get passed. That's just a given with any new president and even if what he's striving for does we'all get to keep more of our money. Lower taxes....

Hillary was bought by the ME3.

Trump (supposedly) doesn't like Muslims.

Which one would sell us out to the ME3?????

Give me a break.

Hillary was going to KILL our industry to put a couple bucks in her pocket.

not sure where you get your Intel.....futures were down overnight, but the NYSE, S+P, and Nasdaq are all up right now......doesn't seem like "tanking"
