Default Capt. George "Chick" Gillette

Former Braniff 1, Global, Air Atlanta, Interstate and finally retired UPS. Passed away on July 27th. Survived by sons Paul, David and Eric, at FDX, SWA and DAL. Great father and role model.

George Gillette will be missed.

I remember doing a fly-no-pay for him on the 747 FE position at UPS, and he was very gracious and offering to make it up to me-- and he was super senior, while I was a new-hire pilot.

We had never met at that point, but I knew his son Eric from our days building time as CFIs in Addison, Texas (ADS). They all have a Dad they can be very proud of.
