Default "seniority_list" merger integration software

The following link will take you to the documentation website for an open-source (free to use) software program specifically designed for integrating seniority lists. It measures/compares short- and long-term outcome equity over a range of metrics for various proposals and even allows the user to construct custom integrated lists based on outcome using an interactive visual tool.

seniority_list documentation — seniority_list 0.62 documentation

A paper has been published about the program through Cornell University and some basic videos about the program are available on YouTube. Links are available on the website.

The program includes a sample integration scenario for familiarization and testing. The program is written in the Python programming language and uses several open-source data science libraries within the code base to make it work. Basic knowledge of Python is required to run the program - inputs to the program are in spreadsheet format.

seniority_list is very fast and is able to handle "what-if" scenarios involving changes in job counts, furlough/recall, and conditions and restrictions. Results are presented with charts and spreadsheets.

seniority_list can save a tremendous amount of time, money, effort, and worry when dealing with seniority integration situations through the use of modern data science. Outcome reports are objective and quantifiable, and may be easily shared with members of the work groups for complete transparency in support of the final list solution.

Much more information is available at the website.
