Well, as you might imagine, Minnesota Public Radio is hip-deep in this coverage.

We would like some direction from you.

What questions should our newsroom pursue? What is the press ignoring when it comes to this issue? We have a link to a form at MPR News that you could fill out. Paste it into the browser.

Default Glad to be here... but... HELP!

We are absolutely worried about not getting the nuance of this story (because we are so invested in NWA). But really it just comes down to good reporting. That starts with decent questions.

So... what should we pursue... ????

Mike, Appreciate your concern. The question I want answered is "What does the combined carrier plan to do about a 100 seat aircraft replacement." Our DC-9's are the only true 100 seaters that the combined carrier owns. There is clearly a need to have a 100 seat airplane, but the 9's are old and need to be replaced. Obviously, we want a mainline replacement airplane, and not another attempt to outsource more of our flying.

I guess my next question is "What about cargo?" NWA has been "studying" a replacement freighter for about the same amount of time as a replacement 100 seater.

Default Thanks....

... some of those issues you raise came up oh so briefly in the various press conferences today. I will see if we could try to pursue them.

One angle you might consider is the cultural difference between "management is the enemy" guys and "we're just want to be in a company that stays afloat" guys.

With the merging of the airlines what will they do with the regional feeders that service the same cities?
