I have nothing bad to say about NWA pilots in general--every one I've met so far (besides Carl) has been a great dude. SP92 and others are the personification of moderation and common sense.
Unfortunately, it's not the reasonable line guys who are negotiating, it's the militant NALPA grouches.
Too bad we can't just pick a couple of ordinary guys to do the negotiating. It certainly would save a lot of posturing and unpleasantness.

Your generalization is still to strong. Does the NALPA have a reputation of being confrontational? I dont doubt that they do but we have some very good people working in NALPA. I have emailed my rep on a number of occasions and every response i have gotten has been very informative and logical, hoping for fair treatment of EVERYBODY regardless of company or seniority number. If i posted the responses from my reps you would get a different idea of the NALPA. Lets just say they arent the grouches you think they are.
Hopefully now the two sides are working together to get this done in the best interest of us all.

You're not reading any of these threads if that's what you think. I think these threads have a very balanced group of DAL and NWA guys. Some centrist views and some extreme on both sides. But hardly one sided by DAL guys only.

Could of fooled me, looks more like an aspiring chef stirring a up a bowl of $hitstew. I think that the NWA & DAL pilots have a mutual working respect for one another, and we'll work this thing out. If you need help finding the CAL threads just let me know, I'll be happy to PM a few links.

I guess I'm not seeing that I and I truly don't have a dog in the fight. I have friends at both carriers whom I greatly respect, but it seems that this is the Delta show and NWA types should be seen and not heard.
Sorry, but that's how it appears to me.

You may not have a dog in this fight, but you definitely like to bark.
