Anybody Home?
Pretty quite in here lately. I guess both sides are doing a good job keeping a lid on the SLI negotiations/arbitration.
It has been really very quite on the NWA side how about at DAL? Anyone want to lay out a thought on whether we get a negotiated or arbitrated settlement?

My thoughts are that we won't see a negotiated agreement until near the end at best..... Both sides will now sit and meet with the arbitrators and see where it goes from there. If one side feels like they are about to get the short end of the stick then there may be movement on their part and a negotiated list might be produced.

Seeing that one of NWALPA's final proposals on SLI was ... of the top 1500 positions on the new list, all but 40-50 would be NW guys!, I doubt very seriously we will have a negotiated list. Unless of course NWALPA does an enormous 180 degree change, or DALPA rolls over in the interest of "pilot unity"
