Another UAL/US merger rumor??
Heard from someone who heard from another person, (ya this really sounds reliable at this point, right?) that UA and US are trying to tie up again...
Aparently there is something in the news/company news postings on Republic's internal sight that speaks to this.
As well as some article in the Arizona Republic...
Can someone over there find this post or anyone find the article, if they really exist and repost them here?
Anyone got any info on this, or is this just another dumb rumor?

I KNOW of someone at NWA who before the possibility of a merger was even announced, got a credit check done on themselves and it came back saying that Delta Air Lines was their employer.
Maybe that would be a good place to start.

I just can't envision any company involving the East/West fiasco ever coming close to profitability. Wall Street alone would use the new stock as toilet paper.

The bright side is that in the ensuing nuclear winter that would follow, we could establish a bigger presence on the west coast.
If the merger should go through for them, I propose a pay per view, no rule, UFC match that I should sponsor. That would be the ultimate championship I believe.
