The 8 days in a row mentioned had 24 hours between two 4 days.

Dude. Seriously? Why? PHX=Skywest. DFW=Envoy. You can pay me later for this million-dollar advice.

Is Skywest any better in terms of schedules? I heard it could take awhile to get PHX as your base at SKW.
Yes. As TheFly said, might take you 10 months to hold PHX, but you will definitely have a better schedule in the mean time.

Mesa is 11 days off for line holders or reserve. Mesa can junior man you into days off. SkyWest does not junior man you, it is volunteer basis. You could pick up the phone on a day off, talk to crew support (crew scheduling), and then say sorry I cannot work that trip.

There are a whole lot of other things which you will get like better pay, better per diem, a uniform allotment, 70 bucks towards your medical, pilot profit sharing.....if you are at SkyWest.

Mesa has a reputation for a reason. It is the management over there that is a problem, I am sure most of the pilots are pretty good people.

You got some stuff wrong here.

1. You can't go below 11 days offf, period.
2. We don't have "junior manning". We have junior available. And if you are not available they can't make you just do it.

Still it is 11 days off. That is one of the lower minimums in the industry. Other places get 12 off, some even get 13 in the regional world.

I like flight time. Low pay is OK but I get to fly shiny jets! Yay Mesa!

Those little orange stickers kind of dull the shine.

Please tell me you're joking. Mesa pilots don't get at least a clendar day off in base after 6 days on? The factories in North Korea have better work rules.
