What have you heard?

United does have 25 new Ejets coming on line to replace CRJ700’s. If they are GoJet’s 700s, then those are based in ORD and DEN. If some of those are ours, they are IAD based.

I didn’t think we ever wanted ORD as a base again. Republic has been shrinking at ORD. We would be better off with a DEN base than competing against a ORD junior base from other regionals.

United is looking to buy XJET from SKW and place there the new 25 175s they just ordered. 25 700s will be replaced that are currently operate by SKW... SKW I in talks to place them with Delta
Also in talks to tag all their pilots at the bottom of their seniority list
and as their capacity agreements end of those aircraft they own and lease (175s) to other regionals eventually coming to the XJET operation in the near future
No scope negotiation needed for that

Given that SkyWest only operates 19 CRJ700s and United is scoped out on 70 seaters, there are still 6 70 seaters unaccounted for in your theory.

All credibility went out the window when you said UA is buying XJT. UA already bought Air Wisconsin.

20-30 of the existing 60 moving to ORD is what the grapevine’s saying. No real source to back this up, so let’s see how the cookie crumbles

I’ve heard Ord from 3 different people. The original person said CRJ would go and our ejets would take IAD, the next person I heard it from said ejets in ORD.

Yeah, in 1992 and sold them in 1993. United might own a chunk of Air Wisconsin, but not enough to report them in their SEC filings.

I would still be surprised about ORD. If you look at our routes, we avoid ORD like the plague. And, JO has been clear he doesn’t want a base there. But, I guess United could give Mesa no choice in the matter given the CPA is expiring.

Maybe, we are moving the 700’s there under American colors? Let’s really get a good rumor going.
