Rumblings of Mesa opening a DEN base this fall - is this recruiters recruiting or likely to occur?
SkyWest is beefing up the CRJ fleet in DEN and GoJet has the “new” CRJ-550’s currently based in DEN (although there’s speculation UA will ask GoJet to move the 550’s by opening an EWR base or feeding EWR from their existing RDU base).

Nothing is official until it's announced. Which hasn't happened yet. Rumors are just that rumors. May be some truth, may be no truth. But no one on here has the inside knowledge or can share it if they really did.

At some point we’re quibbling over semantics - while GoJet may not currently have 550’s, they have a contact with United to operate the 550’s for several years on taking delivery - but the point is that GoJet flying 550’s for United is confirmed going forward.

“550s Currently flying in DEN” is not just semantics they don’t currently have any and they aren’t going to DEN. ORD and probably EWR but some people are arguing if it’s possible to staff that through RDU.

Hasn’t been announced where G7 550’s will be based that I’ve seen - everyone is assuming they’ll support UA’s EWR flying (from EWR or RDU base), but who knows and there’s no obvious reason they couldn’t stay in DEN if that’s what UA wants/needs. I’m just trying to understand all DEN’s moving pieces the best I can and whether YV will end up with a slice of DEN.
