never said it was. But if you want a good rec for your next gig not leaving a two week notice is a good way to assure you leave on bad terms. Kinda how jobs work…

True. Its more about courtesy and not burning a bridge. Never know when you may need to come crawling back to a former employer.

The idea that you will or will not have a “good rec” is a myth as well. If your company has an HR Dept. legally all they can tell the person inquiring is dates of employment. FACT: there are labor laws that leave the company open to lawsuits if they “ badmouth you to another employer.

Also your a number at mesa that’s all. Please believe me when I tell you.

You’re a number at any airline regardless of what they tell you.

United just announced that at Mesa we have to opt-in to Aviate and we get to "flow" to United without applications or interviews.

Get your popcorn ready. We thought there was training backlog before?

Opt-in must be done by March 31st however, so it probably won't matter to my class since we are waiting on sims unless we are considered eligible pilots but I hardly doubt it. They'll probably open it again though.

Im not psychic, but I would think that it’ll immediately make around 200 or so EJet captains eligible for a flow, and they’ll be gone as soon as they can be, and then the company will need to train their replacements, including the subsequent replacements jamming up the sims. I might be wrong, but I’ll say you are a ****ing idiot if you pass that opportunity up.

I'd agree with that last part. I had interviewed at Aviate before Mesa and I was a no-go the first time and I was going to try again with 500 at the carrier but it appears I don't even have to do that now, no more interview prep, no Hogan test, so this feels too good to be true right now but here we are. I'll opt-in asap when they open it again.
