Coodrough568's trolling comments and demeanor remind me of a boy my mom used to watch for another mom each day after school when I was younger. Although this boy was my same age at the time, he would poop his pants for attention as we watched cartoons. Needless to say, we didn't see much of that boy after the first week; in that respect Coodrough568 differs from my memory.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the training department is having a rough go at it. My understanding is that new hire sims on the E175 have been paused until at least October. This is to allow the sims to be used to requalify Capt and FOs that have dequalified from not being able to get in for AQP, Capt upgrades, and upcoming AQP. The cancellation/delay of systems class is probably related to this since they already have completed so many systems classes with tons of guys just sitting while they wait for sims. No point in bringing in more guys

1. How long to get an interview?
2. Am I able to choose the fleet that I want? If I want the crj
3. How long is it from indoc to IOE. I heard almost 1 year for Mesa?! Is this true
4. Is KIAD junior
5. Pass rate at Mesa? How's the training quality

2. Yes you can pick your fleet, import see answer to #4.
3. For the CRJ no longer then elsewhere, 3ish months to the line, in theory, but things are unstable in the training department right now to say the least.
4. KIAD is now an Ejet base. I believe it is relatively junior on the FO side but the more senior of the two bases on the Ejet side. The CRJ bases are from most junior to senior SDF (don't commute to SDF, the trips are not commutable) DFW, and PHX. The Ejet bases are IAD and IAH. Now training on the Ejet is extremely back up. Talking at least 6 months wait for sims (so 9 months from indoc to the line) at this point and even starting to hear 11 months (14 months to the line) as a number thrown around. They will pay you for that entire time at min guarantee. But that is clearly less than ideal.
5. The training here is probably the best thing about this place. It's run by pilots for pilots. The scheduling in training could use a massive improvement but the quality of the program and it's instructors is absolutely top notch. We aren't industry leading in much but quality of the training program is something I believe we are top tier in.

Hey guys, I’ve been looking through the forum here for a little bit now and haven’t seen many posts recently regarding training delays. I get there are delays everywhere but I have a friend currently trying to go through the E175 systems class and they told me classes for systems have been canceled until June. I have a class date for July 27th, can anyone comment on the delays currently ongoing and if my class date is in jeopardy of being delayed as well? Pretty concerned especially since delays are happening mostly everywhere but I haven’t heard of system’s classes experiencing delays.

Both. And I would say the systems classes being canceled are because of no systems instructors. If they don’t run classes for a while honestly all that will do is allow them to catch up on the dequal pilots and those already waiting for sims. At that point there will be a new contract too. It’s conceivable that by fall they could start to right the ship a little but it’s Mesa so they will figure out a new and unique way to **** it up.

I forgot his name was it the FO that was a former mechanic still teaching? They should’ve been giving him capt pay lots of videos but he did really well pausing and explaining further when he needed to.

He left first. Then they had the guy doing FPTs take both roles. That lasted a few weeks and he bolted. So there’s no one left at all.
