It ain’t that bad. You get used to it and are delighted when you get one with two. Although a lot of the FJ’s with single FMS’s fly better in my opinion. Plus if we had two in all our CRJ’s one would just be deferred anyways!

E175 Fo IAD is junior. They can assign crj if necessary. And it may well be when they get to the cadets.

I have never seen one of two deferred. Ever. These things are pretty reliable.

That’s unfortunate and unfair. Mesa doesn’t fly broken planes. That’s kind of the point. We cannot fly our schedule due to not having enough spares for when a plane goes down. We don’t fly them broken.

You must not have been around for the epic software snafu of the summer of 2019.
The FMS on all the CRJ’s were turned into paper weights and we all flew around on green needles for like a month.
