Mesa Cadet Program

I'm not sure about a cadet program, but it looks like they fired up the ole bonus machine again. That's mostly what you get from a cadet program anyway.

Sounds like things haven't changed since I was at Mesa 2003-2005. Scheduling acted like "Operational Necessity" voided the contract.
Back then Mesa flew for USAirways, America West, and United. Us refugees from USAirways mainline were CRJ200 PIC's out of seniority because of the Jets4Jobs LOA. But we only had "Super Seniority" in the USAirways system, not the AWA or UAL painted jets. We were limited to PHL as a base. But Mesa routinely assigned our pilots to fly AWA and UAL routes under the "fly now grieve later" protocol. They kept promising to stop but of course didn't when it was "Operational Necessity". One month someone in Crew Planning got the bright idea to open a UAL CRJ200 base in PHL. Well we had Super-Seniority for being Captains, but not for bidding schedules. So guess who all the CRJ200 reserve Captains were? Once again they just violated the LOA and quickly pulled the UAL jets out of PHL the next month. I've got many more stories like that but would be typing all morning
