The way things are going, probably best to get a job elsewhere and keep your seniority number in your back pocket. First recall CRJ classes arent even happening till April at least now. Best hope is Mesa gets acquired or merges and hopefully you dont get stapled at the bottom of another seniority list.

Where did you get hired? Congrats from another LAMA.

Wow, It looks like I can get more reliable info here on APC than from the Mesa MEC emails or their facebook page. I just checked the mesa furlough website and it has the CRJ classes as pending now. You guys were right, I wonder when the Mesa MEC will let their furloughs know.

Well, I know they haven't forgotten about you guys, you're remembered in every Hotline. At least the 496 number is a little less than it was for several months.

Last I heard was two CRJ classes for March, and two for April. Apparently the two for March are long classes for people who haven't flown the CRJ before, and the two in April are short 'recurrent' classes for people that have already flown the CRJ. Heard theres already grievances being filed for junior people being recalled into the March classes over more senior people getting the April classes.

More rumor mill BS or is anyone else hearing something similar?

I don't think it has anything to do with previous experience on type; the short courses are for the recent furloughs who haven't completely dequaled.

That would make more sense....

Quite a few of the vol furloughs were from the erj. Probably a mix of both.

Out of the 480 on furlough, does anyone actually know how many are still with the company? I have heard as many as half have left all together without the company knowing. Can anyone confirm or add to this? Also, will they be running recall classes every month until all furloughs are returned to active duty?

This is public info. Log onto mes-air.com and go to employee website the furlough recall list. The people that didn't respond are technically resigned. People that resigned voluntarily were removed from the list. You can do the math yourself. People who have gotten jobs elsewhere without notifying Mesa were probably non alpa jobs(since most make you give up your seniority number). As far as recalls, they will happen as atrittion dictakes. Nobody could answer the question as to how many recalls and how often. If management had it their way, they would never recall anybody. Catch my drift? It's a business.
