Mesa Recall Numbers
#2
The numbers came out last night. Go to mesa-air.com under the employee site. You will see how many people bypassed and who got CRJ or Dash 8.

What happens to those who did not respond? According to the contract, they are required to respond within 7 days of receipt of the notice. I noticed the vast majority of them did not respond and was just wondering what's going to happen to them. I wonder if that would be considered as resignation.
I am in the early 1000's so I won't go back any time soon, but I was just curious on those no responses.

I saw it different but I may be wrong?? To fill about 12 CRJ and 4 Dash slots they had to go to number 33 on the list. About 50% return rate. The recall letter asked would you take a recall on the Dash would you take a recall on the CRJ, would you take a recall on either, or do you bypass. It looks like after the top 33 most replied Im not taking a recall this round or I will only fly the CRJ so they had to go to number 133 or so to fill the remaining 6 Dash slots. The rest that would take a recall only wanted the CRJ and to fill another class of 20 CRJ pilots they would need to call to about 75 on the list. Around 50% is much higher then I would have thought but math was never my best subject so maybe I'm seeing the numbers wrong.

I am trying to locate a Mesa pilot that I worked with a long time ago; last I talked to him - about five years ago - he was based in Phoenix. If a current Mesa pilot would PM me, I'll give you his name and maybe you could forward a message to him for me. (Sorry this is not really related to the original thread, but I figured Mesa guys would be reading it!)
