Mesa Furloughs?
#31
Not pilot news, but today Mesa fired all four of its aircraft routers in a cost saving messure. FWIK the WARN act was not given to the affected people... The house of cards continues to cave in.
...I'd laugh if it wasn't true

Mesa 900 engines due in 2016. US airways contract due in 2015. Depending on the economy. Ouch. 2.5 million per engine. Massive pilot leave. Not an F.O. that doesn't have 1000 pic myself over 3000. Even if Mesa gets financing, who is going to sit in the right seat. Nobody in the pipe. I just hope the economy holds up. This airline will go down. Or get swallowed, best scenario.
