Mesa E-jet?

I just heard from someone from Mesa, that they are training some of their captains to be Ejet check airman.
Have you guys heard anything?

Mesa E-jet?

There are some rumors that Mesa might get those 30+ 175s that United has purchased.

That said, if you want to fly 175s go to SkyWest.

I've asked him that like 2-3 times....... No reply. Hopefully my company didn't hire him.

Oh Here comes slats as well.

Yeah but isn't this still all in the rumor phase? Is it 20 or 30 aircraft that are to be assigned to the mesa cert?

This coming from a guy who's on his 3rd or is it 4th interview for the month? Jesus...you sure you're gonna pass Skywest indoc?

Or they haven't offered you the job yet?

It's still nothing more than a rumor at the YV schoolhouse. No checkairmen are currently being trained on the EJET

What the heck does that have to do with anything? Is there anyone here that would recommend someone go to Mesa over SkyWest?

And for the record, I've had three interviews in the last month. I have a class date with Commutair and I'm waiting to hear from SKW.

It might be wise to consider if a company will maybe be around in 10 or 20 years. I knew a guy who fly for Ransome, Pan Am Express, TWA, Pam Am then ATA and finally a B747 Capt at World. He ended up laid of a World at age 61 with 24,000 hours. Finally accepted a job at a big regional to finish his career out of EWR.
