Default Mesa, PSA or SKW?

Where would you go between these 3?
Mesa may be the "worst" but would be a no commute.
SKW is the "best" but I will be sitting reserve for a long time, commuting and right seat for many years.
Objective replies please... Thanks all!

Omg. You mean a thread with over 300,000 views and 2,000 replies isn't enough?

GoJet's contract is horrific. I'd ace that airline just based on that (OTOH they don't make you sign a TA so that may count for something).

Easy decision. No Commute=No Hassles getting to work. Mesa will probably have the fastest upgrade. Get in, get your time and get out. The hiring at the Majors may last a long time but it will not last forever

I know 5 guys who currently work there, including two checkairmen. I also have a copy of their contract. My sources are fine.

Whatever is the best fit for you. If the industry hits the can tomorrow, where do you want to be? Plus TPIC time does not mean as much as it used to. Look at XJT attrition and tell me why there is an equal amount of FOs going to mainline as captains?

I personally chose SKW between those 3. So far I've been happy. Everyones milage will vary. IMO, take the no commute. But then look at the health of the company. I, personally, wouldn't touch Mesa with a 400 foot pole. GoJet with a 500 foot pole.

By the way, I'm not saying GJ is a bad airline with lousy crews - I know some great guys who work there (including some of the office staff) and they are trying to improve things (at least the pilot group is). But it is a fact that their contract has holes big enough to drive a semi through because of the loose language and unfortunately that DOES impact a person's QOL because scheduling et. al WILL play in the "grey" areas.

It's just how it is.

What are your thoughts about PSA? You forgot to say something.

That "quick" upgrade at Mesa could be gone in a heartbeat, then you're left working for a really sh**** company that will treat you and pay you as such... And reserve at Skywest isn't that long in a lot of bases. I did exactly one month of reserve... Do what's best for you, just know what you're getting into..
