What are your thoughts about PSA? You forgot to say something.

That "quick" upgrade at Mesa could be gone in a heartbeat, then you're left working for a really sh**** company that will treat you and pay you as such... And reserve at Skywest isn't that long in a lot of bases. I did exactly one month of reserve... Do what's best for you, just know what you're getting into..

By the way, I'm not saying GJ is a bad airline with lousy crews - I know some great guys who work there (including some of the office staff) and they are trying to improve things (at least the pilot group is). But it is a fact that their contract has holes big enough to drive a semi through because of the loose language and unfortunately that DOES impact a person's QOL because scheduling et. al WILL play in the "grey" areas.
It's just how it is.

What did you say? I can't hear you over all the quick upgrades.

Dude - seriously. Why are you such a DB?
I'm trying to explain to you from pretty good knowledge what's going on over there, and I gather you don't have the first freaking clue as to what you are talking about.
So why don't you tell me why it's such a wonderful place to work, since you seem to know and have intimate knowledge (like I do) of what's going on over there. Why don't you share with me what's going on with the Union and the stewards. Why don't you go ahead and tell all of us about why the pilot group is so concerned about longevity, Mr. quick upgrade?
Go on -- enlighten us.

PSA is upgrading around 20/month and hiring 40 FO's/month. This next class starting Monday has 35 new hires from what I hear. 18 total interviewed yesterday and today. New hires with at least 1000 121 time will probably upgrade quicker when the demand comes.

Thoughts on PSA? Well I would have to commute plus the company is not well viewed because of the concessions.
I am leaning to the no commute, these regionals are all a crap shoot and would love to stay there for as little time as possible.
Bus as a new guy to the airlines, I wanted to hear opinions from experienced pilots.
Thanks to all those that replied!
