That and in airport advertising would be great but probably really expensive.

Unconfirmed, but I heard that a significant portion of it is to be used to hire lawyers who will take over negotiations on our behalf as our MAG ALPA guys are woefully inadequate and inexperienced in dealing with management as resistant as ours. I hope this is true.

I'm not saying it isn't, but what would be wrong with hiring extra outside counsel?

Also:
The Negotiating Committee met with Jonathan Ornstein on Wednesday for several hours. He explained the company position on the comprehensive proposal we submitted. His overview of the situation and his plans for going forward, while encouraging, did not answer any of the substantive points in our comprehensive proposal.
So press him on it. Our proposal requires a simple yes or no, or at least a respectable counterproposal. And if they keep stalling, we bite the bullet and go to mediation. It seems clear management's tactic is to stall and make just enough progress to keep us from going that route. If the rumors of an "announcement" Q1 of 2017 are true, maybe they're just stalling until then to agree to a TA coinciding with whatever that is.

But enough games. We give them a hard deadline of January 31st to agree to our proposal, or we put that $2 million to better use than a billboard and go to mediation.

Is it true that if tracking calls us to junior assign, we can say unavailable? The contract isn't clear on this.

It's jr available. You can elect to not answer your phone or just tell them you aren't available. If you are on reserve then you can't. Unless it's your day off.

I'm a line holder. Don't I have to answer the phone though if its within 15 minutes after landing?

Line holders don't have to answer their phone ever.
