So only 985 total pilot? Then why does the global seniority list show 1295 total pilots. I doubt we have 310 pilot in training.

I stand by my comment that 3 to 4 CA's are leaving each week, but I should clarify, that's 3 to 4 getting job offers and later class dates. We all know CA's who are leaving to Atlas, Jet Blue, Spirit, United, etc. It's only going to pick up. Really, I don't care about the number of CA's that are leaving, I care about the number of new hires coming in, and the number of FO's leaving.

JC, even APC is showing 1077 airman. Sure there's going to be a constant influx of pilots as the revolving door speeds up. Take a look at your F/O pay, working for these wages screws up the remainder of the industry. The 175 should pay 100/50.

Question for IAH first officers, how many days off on average a block holder has built in a line ? Thank you.

Depends on how much flying you want to do. There are some junior line holders getting 15 days off but are down around the 76-78 hour range. If you want 90+ hours of flying, figure on 11-12 days off a month.

Thank you for answering my question, and I'm looking forward to it.

Would anyone who is in initial E175 now or recently hired know if there is any idle time during sim training, I am hearing that there is a backup for E175 sim time for some airlines as long as 5 weeks break between systems and sim, and, wondering if that's the case for Mesa pilots.. Thank you.

It's amazing how quiet it got in here after MagPBS came in with actual info instead of "I heard from my girlfriends third cousins babysitter....."

I agree. Now if we can just get one of our negotiators on here telling us really how it is. It's been pretty quiet from them lately.
