I think too many people have been drinking the Kool-aid. The major are going to need to bring on a lot more narrow bodies if they are going to drop all those 50 seats. It's not dead yet my friend. I know they would, like to get rid of them, but being scoped out is a big issue for them right now. Either that or Mainline pilots sell out the scope. He keeps saying the 50 seat is dead but with fuel prices this low they are still here. I don't think AW is dead, I do think come beginning of the year will be very interesting. I think there are people holding their breath waiting on what happened with RAH, it may be nothing, or it could be a shift in power. I just keep the stir-crazy and popcorn ready. I think AW will be just fine.

I wouldn't be sorry. They undercut every other better paying airline for all this flying and now have to accept the ramifications of a staffing issue. Their one perk was a quick upgrade and now that's gone.

Curious, let's say they gave a small raise, why in hell would you even consider Mesa? They have always been at the bottom. I can see why they got an uptick in resumes when they aircraft, but even then not sure why someone would go there. Now that they're in destruction mode, how the hell do they get resumes, can all people applying to Mesa go see a phycologist and post his profile of you. Also, how did Mesa get resumes when they use to charge 50.00 to apply, I really would like to see your profiles. Please let Mesa implode. Sucks for the guys there, but it will mean raises for you guys when you start at the bottom somewhere else. Well maybe not your senior guys, but who cares, they've dragged this sector down and happily flew for nothing.
